A rework suggested by reforger of my previous picture, which has been surprisingly unpopular both here and on dA, by all available metrics. I hesitate a bit from employing very heavy distortion effects like this because it destroys a lot of the detail I spend time on, but now I think about it, detail underneath a layer of distortion is not really lost. Rather, it's just transformed a bit. I can live with that when the end result is good. :)
I think this is a general improvement. I'll probably scraps the previous version.
