There's a couple reasons. First one is I just don't really want to mix SFW and NSFW. My main gallery (most of my followers/oldest) is on deviantArt, has always been completely SFW and I don't want to directly link from there to a fuckfest on FA, when most people who follow me are used to and want to see SFW. Of course it's personal too, I just like having this gallery fit for all eyes.
Second is that there are people who know my dA name and I don't want them to search for me and have NSFW art being the first thing they see.
In any case I suppose I'm just easing into the idea of actually having my NSFW art anywhere near public eyes.
