Based on my 300E not running right, and my mechanic's opinion that the 30 year old catalytic converted is at the end of its service life...

I used to enjoy using "Dixie" cups for a variety of things besides taking a quick drink of water. (Water for my paint brushes for example.) Around 2003 or so, during a visit to Riverside, my friends and I drove by the last Southern California factory that produced Dixie paper products, and it had already been closed and abandoned. I found it ironic that the imposing looking, industrial structure did have little flourishes of whimsey still evident in it's façade. There was even a giant, cast concrete representation of a Dixie cup that must have been about six feet tall. I felt a bit depressed after seeing the sight, in pretty much the same way I feel after seeing a closed and abandoned Shipworks or steel mill. It was strange to ponder at how something as small and insignificant as the Dixie cup was such a part of Industrial history, which at one time employed thousands.
Still have the 210, got the 124 about eighteen months back:

Nah, last time it was the 210 who got the cats replaced. Which also led to a Couch Kitties comic: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15379467/
A few years back, two of our Australian Cattle Dogs got into a package of black powder revolver wads. The wads were made of wool felt treated with lanolin and lard and scented with wintergreen. We took them to the vet and I actually created the first Poison Control Center manual entry on Wonder Wads, after calling the company.
The specific treatment was to administer yummy, yummy petrolatum to prevent the dreaded Dog Clog.
