A bust commission for
Ozawk , featuring their gorgeous osprey girl prepping for a dive
Was an absolute blast to work on her, as it's been a while since I drew an avian character; her colours and design is gorgeous ;w; Mega enjoyed the pointy feathery hairdo. .3.
It was real fun to adapt scuba gear for a new species, how the beak shape would affect the gear - furgonomics - and such. The idea of an old-school vintage BC vest came up as well, though it would have covered her given its lifejacket-like design so we settled down on a fun idea; having the wings sport the BC. o3o
Drawing her really helped to get my arting mojo back, its been finally beaten! :Dc

Furgonomics is a bloody great word to describe the kinds of things we've talked about in streams... and this is a bloody great finished piece, for sure! You've captured Ozawk's character in a really nice way, with the markings and the special suit! And with the background and the white frame, the composition of this piece is just really cool too! Just like a photograph or something!
