Room sign for myself and
Emmacreatures, my roomie at Eurofurence!
Since the theme this year was aviation, I decided to do our room sign based off the sheet music cover for the song "Come Josephine In My Flying Machine", a pop waltz from 1910 that really captures the joyful optimism of when man was just starting to take to the skies. The duet with Ada Jones and Billy Murray is a delight to listen to. Lots of that old wax cylinder recording charm.
Most of the linework is vectored based off the actual poster, but the portraits are my own work, and they were so fun to do!
