I only recently got a wacom cintiq, and was using it before with a mouse. It's great for coloring!

Here's a couple things I colored with a mouse, with imported hand drawn line art...

So yeah, drawing with it is a no go with a mouse, but if you want to color with paint effects and stuff, it's a lot of fun. I know what it's like to mouse color, I never used a tablet until about May of this year. Still hard for me to get used to it!!
