..... This is very powerful. Clearly some awful and violent happened. Look at the powerful sad face on that wolf's regretful face and body language as he is looking at someone's blood all over his paws and forearms. It's like he is silently crying out something like along the lines of "what have I done". The dim coloring and lighting through the dark bloody background just add to the tragic dark story behind this picture.
