"AT THE SAME TIME!"
I had voiced some interest in drawingImperfect Most Perfect Cell infused with actual arthropod anatomy during a stream where we were watching DBZA and the others were in for it, so this kind of happened. Don't bring a bunch of bug enthusiasts to a bug fight, I guess.
Also, I tried out doing a proper construction sheet for once, than doing the redesigns as tiny scribbles between other notes, scrap paper and the like, or keeping it in my imagination.

Exactly. Dead would have been better. I just feel that Vegeta is wasted in the newer seasons and shows and the whole "dancing for Beerus" part was just embarrassing. Vegeta was a brutal conquerer from space. The writers had not idea of what to do with him once he swapped sides in DBZ. He now comes off like a passive-aggressive fool, because Vegeta (like most Saiyans) was not made for peace times.
I fully agree. It is great to have a conversation with someone who loves DB as much as I do! You know what I would have prefered for Vegeta? If he had to stay alive, he should have been this lonely, angry guy who travels the galaxy for his personal revenge. He would go on a journey to destroy and hunt down the last parts of the Empire of Frieza. I do not know why, but I always found it unbelievable that Vegeta would be willing to stay on Earth and to mate with a human woman. This sounds more in line with his character in the early parts of DBZ than the stuff we actually got. What do you think about my story proposal?
Sorry for the english errors, I am still learning the language (and English is quite far removed from my mother tongue, the Arabian language).

Well, Toriyama needed someone to make Trunks, I guess? An alternative could be him being Yamcha's son instead, turned into an android as an extreme measure. Having Vegeta bugger off to space would pretty much get him out of the picture permanently, as it seems the empire is really widespread, considering they could dredge up more and more parts of it in Super, and there would be a pretty good chance he wouldn't survive it, since Vegeta in a metal can in space could easily be killed by having said metal can destroyed with a well-aimed laser shot from a distance.
Your English is well-readable, I have seen native speakers with way worse grammar. I'm not a native English speaker myself and mess up the language, too.

Thank you very much! Your English is quite good, if I might say so! Isn’t it kinda funny that we both use an alien language to communicate? If we were to talk in our mother tongues, nobody would understand a word from the other, haha!
I like your idea of Trunks being Yamchas son! This sounds better than what we actually got. It just always confused me why Trunks of all people would be so extremely different than everybody else from his father’s family. Vegeta just doesn’t seem like a family man to me at all. He always reminded me a bit of the hero in the old Clint Eastwood Wild West movies. He is more talkative and arrogant, but he has a similar attitude when it comes to life.

Well, I hope so. My main problem is transferring some minor grammatical rules from German. It's funny for sure, but considering I often converse with people from the Netherlands, Denmark and Finland, it's nothing unusual.
I guess it's Bulma's influence, considering Vegeta essentially pumped and dumped, starting to care about his son only way in.

Your main language is German? Than you have an advantage, my good man! My mother language is Arabian, which is not at all related to the germanic languages. I actually like German, because it sound so wonderfully militaristic!
I agree as far as Bulma goes. Her effect on Vegeta was softening.

Of course, having the same alphabet does make matters a lot easier. Can't imagine how it would be to have to learn an entire new alphabet along with the vocabulary and grammar rules. Interesting observation, as I never got the impression of it sounding militaristic. More like hicks drunk on beer, especially when it's dialects.
