I had this idea where one of Ratchet's clones from Size Matters where he becomes infused with healing nanotech and gains sentience, then later on the nanotech continues to 'repair' his imperfect form until he starts to develop a more machine-like nature.
Out of fear he seeks a cure and coming across the plans for Dr Nefarious' Biobliterator and believing it could be of use builds it and winds up inadvertently turning wholly mechanical in nature. Fortunately his nanotech-heavy body kept him from losing his will and sense of self.
Now angry at the universe in general for his self-inflicted yet useful form, the Lombot seeks out ways to enjoy himself, even if it's at the expense of others.
I have to say I love that his mustache and tail are Phono Plugs. I can just imagine his Stache slithering to life and sinking their plugs into the temples of computers and other robots to take control.
