Speaking about these species - in our setting they are puppets, the living dolls with their own soul and feelings. They are pretty cute and harmless when they are young, but they became agressive and can be evil when they are taking off their gloves (or until the gloves are taking off by someone else). The gloves is like a 'limiter' for their true nature and powers. So, with the gloves on they will stay in their puppy form.
