Here's a painting commission for Aevery that was an absolute blast to work on!
It features the belly of his character Aja, a forest spirit, who creates a forest pocket dimension for his prey to live in after he digests their body. Then, he'll attempt to get permission to digest their soul, sometimes tricking them into it. If they agree, it will seem as if his stomach burns away the forest.

I was going to do more of a paper burn shape for the mask, but the effect wasn't very nice. You lost any feeling that the viewer was in the stomach, so I opted for a softer mushy, melt-y mask instead.
