Really the last thing I wanted to find out on my birthday yesterday was the news that I have to get my three wisdom teeth pulled due to the bottom right being impacted/about to break that molar, the bottom left having an abscess below the root that can get infected, and the top left growing into my sinuses. I also have borderline gingivitis thanks to my gums being so dried out from mouth breathing (thanks sinus issues....) and my asthma inhaler, so I have 4-5mm pockets in my gums so I'm looking at a $800 deep cleaning bill even after discounts.
I don't have insurance and I need to do this within 30 days or I no longer qualify for the discount, please consider sharing or donating to this ;_; I really appreciate it! Thank you!

Thank you so much I super appreciate it A TON!!! This whole time, I just thought I had jaw pain because of TMJ and that my sinus issues were just an unfortunate package deal with my asthma, but it turns out a lot of my pain and symptoms are due to this wisdom tooth mess. I'm so excited and looking forward to having these fuckers taken out and I can be free of the pressure its all causing :[ <3
I know this kinda gets personal, but I wanted to mention this as it might help. Not sure if you have, but maybe take a look to see if you have a local state program called "Care Credit". It's a healthcare credit card/credit line that can only be used for medical/dental/vision.
It allowed me to monetize out over 12 months vs paying it all myself right then and there out of pocket; all told around 3500 for two operations.

See if you can find a "dental school" somewhere around where you live, they will usually do it for FREE or really cheap, usually just to cover the cost of materials and that is it.
I had to get a root canal and crown done recently, everyone wanted over $1000 even WITH insurance, instead I got it done at a dental school for under $200 in cash.

I've been down that road. It sucks something terrible. Its a few hundred cheaper, if you go for local anesthetic, apposed to being put to sleep for the surgeries. I went the route of local anesthetic, and have to rank it pretty high on the list of lifetime unpleasant experiences. If you can let them knock you out, it is a far easier, but if you have to take the cheaper route I recommend bringing headphones, to give you something to try and focus on.
Yeah i've been hearing its LOADS cheaper just to do local anesthetic and the gas over being put out completely, and honestly I feel like I'm going to opt for instead ;; . In a perfect world like with unlimited money I definitely would go for being knocked out but I can't easily afford that rip. I'll try my best to focus on other things ;;
If you do go local anesthetic, even though they say you can drive yourself home, I would still recommend arranging a ride, as you will be feeling rather rough. I would also recommend having a red drool towel on hand. You are going to be drooling a lot until the anesthetic wears off.
I had my Wisdom Teeth out with local anesthetic and laughing gas, and it wasn’t too bad. As someone who’s had a bunch of teeth out- headphones help A Lot since most of the anxiety is made worse by the sounds and thinking about it! Wishing you the best on this! If needed, I know people wouldn’t mind waiting if you /needed/ to open up some art slots- especially if they are aware up front.
Also seems like a weird tip- but get one of those water syrnges from CVS after the procedure. Once the wounds heal you still have deep pockets in your gums for a month or two, and flushing stuck food out with warm water will help keep it from getting infected.

"Furry Popularity" != has money sitting around taking up space.
"Furry Popularity" means almost less than nothing to the world at large. You may as well say that Rokemi is the world's greatest and most recognized...pocket lint collector, and by that reason alone she should be able to afford this all by herself!
Her popularity will, however, attract people like myself and others who've talked to or commissioned her in the past in order to donate. Perhaps offer what you can, even if it's only $5, instead of just coming here to poo on her quest to improve her quality of life.
After all, kindness is paid forward, and karma is a bitch. ;)
P.S. And in strict consideration of her popularity, jumping in to a thread like this with this type of comment isn't going to make you friends.

You made the comment, not us, kiddo. And your message was loud and clear, black and white.
Have you actually taken a second to think rationally about what you said and why you got the backlash you did, or is this just a Trumpian moment for us all where you just stand in blind ignorance, 'don't get it' and think you're entirely beside any outrage you received?
I see you're only 21, so it's unlikely you can really appreciate the hardships of life that await you. With that attitude, you've likely never been in a position where you have to make the choice between paying rent and living in pain or humbling yourself before others and asking for a kindness.
Many of us will remember your name, and remember this moment where you decided to poo on someone asking for help to relieve pain, and will not help you when you need it. Think about that for a moment.

Really wish was a payment plan for something like this its not far and its
Your health and comfort on the line.

America is really fucked up as far as insurance or any health situations are concerned, its really rough.
Yeah the 2k is even AFTER the discount (that i have to take advantage of within 30 days :/) and thats for 3 teeth and the deep cleaning.
Its so not fair that theres no kind of payment plan for this huge bill, and I was denied the care credit program they offer... Its a shame
Thank you so much <3

Its so stupid....
Any little bit helps more than what I have FOR SURE, I don't feel entitled to peoples donations at all and honestly even a dollar is a lot for me <3 I really appreciate everything <3

Because the American government doesn't hold regulating negotiations with pharmaceutical companies, to control the cost of medicine and services, like most countries do, the pharmaceutical companies actually set their prices higher in America, to offset their lower prices in other countries.
Augh, I know that pain, kinda - I'm in the middle of getting all four wisdom teeth removed, one side at a time. It's only affordable to me done by the dentist - if done by specialised surgeon, it would be over $1000 (canadian though). Two of my teeth have holes in them, and at 50, it hurts to remove.
This said, the procedure is incredibly routine, so that dental school road should be looked at - but I also know of anxiety and trust issues.
As I'm lucky enough to have insurance, despite low cash flow, I'll see what I can contribute, especially since it will alleviate several symptoms at once!
And happy belated birthday. :)

Damn ;A;!!!
Im really scared though, like if one tiny slip and it touches the wrong spot I'm going to have an absolute panic attack, I really wish I could but I just... cant do this procedure unless from a experienced professional because of my anxiety ;; . I'm sure they're very knowledgeable but for my own sanity, I just can't :(((
Thank you SO !! MUCH I really appreciate it ;O;! <3 (omg and thank you!! <333)

Well, I was given something to make me not remember much of the procedure (triazolam), and I ended up not quite taking it properly.. it mostly took effect once it was done. I have few memories between leaving the chair and at some point being home. There are... stories though. :) But I totally get you about needing to trust someone known!
Daaang, wisdom teeth. I got mine out about 7 weeks ago, it wasn't too bad. $1400 in billable work, of which my dental insurance through work picked up $~800. I only had 1 impacted, and the top two apparently came out without a fuss. I did "twilight" sedation on the surgeon's strong recommendation. I am normally not nervous or anxious at all, but about this I kinda was. The surgeon put the IV in my arm, and it went something like this:
Dr: "OK, we got like 30 seconds here, so tell me about your hobbies or something"
me: "Well.... huh, my head feels funny"
...
me: "Did you do it yet? Why is my mouth full of cotton balls?"
Dr: "You should drink this cup of Ensure with the pills you just took"
me: "I took pills? Did you do it yet? How'd I get in the other room?"
Dr: "You walked over here, and to the x-ray station, and back again, and now you can go home."
I don't remember a thing, but was apparently able to obey commands and move around with some assistance. Freaky, but I'm telling you, that's the way to do it. I would have been super not ok with getting the Lidocane shots in the gums and what not under normal circumstances, but with the sedation I was apparently pretty passive.

Dear lord bud.....looks almost like what I had x.x 1 growing in sideways into a molar and that was impacted due to a baby tooth the never came out. Thanks to a botched root canal years ago the nerve was exposed thus creating a hole in the sideways tooth. So they pulled the baby, hollowed and molar for 911 bucks at Aspen dental, still paying the finance loan off I got through them.
Ugh! I know all your dental pain right now. So I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. I recently learned some similar bad news. My dog accidentally broke one of my teeth out while playing, and I had to have the rest of it pulled. When I asked about a partial denture to fill the void, my dentist said i was covered for it. But he couldn't get it done until i had a root canal and a crown put in next to it. Which is going to run me around $2,000 out of pocket. So im stuck looking like a hockey player until i can afford the other work.
Had my wisdom teeth removed after being caught in NHS bullshit paperwork for one and a half years! I was in pain for a very large majority of that time and I know how maddening that pain can be when the only pain killers available are ibuprofen and paracetamol... (Yeah NHS is good for some stuff but it's insanely bureaucratic with what it can and can't do, as well as giving no one any prescribed painkillers. My landlord is allergic to basic painkillers so had no relief whatsoever when she had an infected tooth not so long back.)
I wish you all the best of luck with your gofundme!

Happy belated birthday hun!!
I'm so sorry you have to go through the lovely wisdom teeth experience D; I wish I could donate but if it helps I can boost out a journal for you! <3
My wisdom teeth experience was..oh man where do I start. You know those whole wisdom teeth experiences on YouTube? Yeah. Mine went NOTHING like how those videos are. Which makes me question them sometimes. 🤔 Anyways I had all 4 of mine removed on October 15 and two were impacted into my jaw, I had to suffer though the rest of high school until I graduated was then. Even during them coming in was SO painful my jaw ached and a tasted blood pretty much all the time. I have anxiety when it comes to the dentist and I was extremely TERRIFIED to babe them taken out but I knew I had to get them taken out. Luckily I have insurance and it was all covered since I have medicaid. I went in got an IV put in my arm the doctor told me to count down from 30, I got to 28 before I was out. I woke up again and it felt like I was only 5 mins and turns out I was there for an hour and a half. I did see things like a unicorn in the room and I named it bob and asked my dad if I could keep him, he said yes o3o Everything was fine until I found out my body doesn't react well to anesthetic medicine that knocks you out, we were driving home and my dad gave me a bucket because I was feeling very nauseous and suddenly he had to slam on the breaks because of some jerkfa even driving in front of us..and then I flew forward and threw up, threw up and passed out. My dad had to go to the store to get my medcine and he left me in the care and I had a few people stop by and ask if I was okay because I looked like a zombie holding a bucket xD Anyways fast forward to getting home and a threw up again, told my mate I'm okay and then I passed out for the rest of the night. Didn't get dry socket and my recovery was pretty smooth. Then to know on the 4th of July this year I had a tiny bone fragment that apprently has been wiggling its way out of my gums from my wisdom teeth removal and then a few days late another one wiggled out. Ouo
Beware once you have your teeth removed there is a chance of a tiny bone fragment appearing later after surgery so just watch out! X3
Good luck hun!! ^w^
