Ulmer Steinolf (D&D Character Card)
Finally got around to starting the character art panels for me and my friends D&D campaign. Just in time for it all to end in about two sessions, but at least my bud is happy.
Card No. 3, Ulmer Stienolf, the wolfman from the tribe beyond Caster's Keep. Sent by his tribesman to learn the ways of man, so they could better elevate themselves to an equal playing field among the races. Charged with protecting Doctor Adrian West's partner, a Kobold druid by the name of Talia Redclaw, the wolf was taken in by the community at 'the Roost', a small town made up of the misfits and monsters looking to make a clean break in the Crown. The trade-off for Talia's protection, access to all the knowledge he could ever need to send back to his people. But as the adventure drags on, was it really worth it?
Ulmer is strong, a possesses an ability to be blinded by feral rage, making him that much stronger in battle. Each felled enemy renews his striking capability, allowing him to continue to attack enemies until they stop dropping like flies and effectively ending his extended term. When it comes to body guards, you probably couldn't do better than a beast like Ulmer. Now if only Talia could stop thrusting herself into trouble, and actually let the wolf do his job.
