And yeah it's a bit like that, although I've found teastaining is hard to make look bad- even when it makes the ink I've used on the page go like...fuzzy and leaky, it looks, intentionally messy? I don't have a technique other than spill it and move the page around and if there's a big drop of tea in a place after that, leave it for a little then dab it dry. It makes more "layers" of colour. I'll sometimes also sprinkle a second layer of tea once the first has dried but make it less large drips and more speckles if that makes sense. It's all about layering!!!
See this is helpful! I was using the instantly dab method, and it always came out looking really..odd. So I will have to try letting it sit for a bit, before dabbing ^^ And layering. That was one thing I never tried, because it always came out so mucked the first layer ^^ So thank you for sharing! It is very helpful! Also this may be an odd question, but do you just use black tea's, or other types for your tea staining?
