I got a damaged green Brekina DKW F7 at a second hand hobby shop in Milwaukee called Happy Hobby with the intention of making this wreck for my brother, who is a WW2 buff and wants a small HO scale diorama or model railroad layout with damaged building, cars, trucks and tanks, etc...

The damage to the top area was already there when I got it and the clear plastic insert that represented glass was missing. A headlight was also gone, but that is part of what made me choose this damaged item in the first place. As the wheels are solid plastic, I had to cut away the rubbers from the rims on the right side of the car. I also cut away the bottom and front edge of the passenger side door to have it in a semi open position. I also used a cutting tool on the seats and then painted the whole thing.
