'The sound of cicadas chirping fills the air, bugs flying around doing their usual routine and the smell of grass and trees shining bright towards the sun. It's a good day to read a book and relax, enjoying the summer wind breezing through the forest. I found my comfort spot and i might plan to stay there for a good while. Maybe a comfortable short nap too. As long as the sun shines bright, i would love nothing more but to spend it on my happy place... well until my Longcoat dries up that is."

Hello there!
I hope you enjoy this one, put a lot of work and i feel quite proud on this painting. I have always wanted to learn dappled lights and the authentic summer feeling and atmosphere. I listen to a lot of ambience song and cicadas to get a good grip on the hot summer feeling. Oh and one thing you'd notice is that Dr.rabbit removes his longcoat on a rare occasion. It's a rare sight but i hope it's a nice change. He would be back to his usual longcoat attire in the next paintings.
