In operation it uses granular biomass for fuel, stuffs like fine sawdust or pulverized dried leaves which are quite abundant on where i live. The sand particles store the heat generated by biomass combustion to keep the interior temperature stable, my research studied the behavior of the sand, in cold flow, which will affect the heat distribution inside the chamber.
