Hello everyone! Welcome to my first spotlight! I’m mostly excited and just a little bit nervous.
Please give me your thoughts and comments on how I did. Would you like me to do more future episodes? Was my voice clear? Did I talk too much? Were the music clips too short, too long? Did I say anything incorrect about any of your pieces? Please let me know! Any feedback is greatly appreciated; I want to bring you guys the best spotlight possible!
Anyway, without further ado, have a listen and enjoy!
Keep recording and producing all this great music!
Until next time!

The recording is completely analogue - the 'cheating' bit is that the computer is playing all the synthesizers for me because I'm not good enough to do it by hand. There's a time code recorded on the last track of the tape deck which tells the computer whereabouts it is in the song - again, this technique kicked off in the 80s.
The bass is played entirely by me, usually with a lot of punch-ins to fix things. It would be easier to record the bass and vocals on a DAW and slide things around to correct things, but I find it more challenging and rewarding to do it the old way.
If you're curious, part of the process can be seen here: https://youtu.be/eB2tQWsKJig?t=112
...what you're not seeing is the synthesizers, I don't usually film those because they just sit there flashing their lights and it doesn't look terribly interesting.
Thanks for the watch, though. Hopefully I'll have something more to show in a couple of weeks.
