Creationize has invited me to participate in his lore's roleplay. I decded to make an alternate variant of my beef noodle Ruvik to use in the tale.

Unlike Classic Ruvik, Modern Ruvik is not a half-fiend hunter who prowls in the realm of dreams and imagination. Modern Ruvik was born and lived in a tribal village until his early adulthood. After he heard about the world beyond his village in turmoil, he left his village and headed for the city in an attempt to make a difference. His people are known to me legendary marksmen, so Ruvik's perfect accuracy with a crossbow had been repurposed for the sniper rifle. His tribe are also renowned water mages; the village itself is protected from the zombie creatures by a Deadly Lagoon filled with blighted water that sinks and drowns anything that doesn't reach the bottom.

Ruvik's weapon of choice is the Jabberwocky, a powerful anti-material rifle partially designed by himself. Not only does it fire heavy slugs capable of punching through vehicle armour, it also features an underbarrel launcher that fires water canisters. Ruvik may use this in a myriad of ways thanks to his capability in waterbending; from drowning whoever got caught in the blast to coverhing his escape in a screen of mist, to flash-freezing obstacles and targets and making them vulnerable to smashing.
