Out of all the hazards of the desert, none are more feared than the dreaded lich. With their vast knowledge of all the desert's secrets and their mastery over many forms of magic (they seem particularly fond of plaguing the living with droughts and sandstorms), the mere rise of a lich is enough for entire desert cities to evacuate.
