IT'S MY BIRTHDAY...like in an hour, because it's around 11pm right now.

I'll be 28.
and this particular birthday is kinda significant to me. It's honestly probably the first time I've ever been... kinda happy to have a birthday.
usually I really dread this time of year and my birthday in general. I always feel really depressed. Partially because my parents never really celebrated my birthday as a kid, and also because I just saw it as another year wasted. Another year where I just grow older and lose more time.

but after all the therapy and crying and self destruction and eventual self care, for the time being it isn't "Well fuck, I'm gonna be this age and I still haven't figured out my life yet" but rather "oh hey cool, I'm gonna be this age. There's still time to figure out my life."

so yeah. for once it feels like a positive thing. wanted to draw myself a little something emphasize it.
