I was tired and boiling and could not sleep, so I did a doodle of the head of an alien species.

Species info:
Known by all races that meet them as the Alpha, which is a misnomer, however they do not reveal their species name to any but their closest of friends.
The Alpha are the physically and mentally gifted of their race. They get all the best jobs and rule their worlds and are the only ones allowed to serve in space. The Gamma sect are the middle class, the administration and skilled workforce. The Delta sect are the peasantry, required for the world to work, but mentally and physically unable to perform more than the basic jobs available to them.
Their society is built like this to ensure that everyone is able to do what they are capable of, without over-reaching themselves. It is not a set system, you are not born into the sect of your parents. Until maturity, all belong to the Beta sect, their capabilities not ranked.

The species identifiable features:
Overall, at first glance, they could be mistaken as wolf-men.
Protruding "sabre" canine teeth on the upper jaw.
Instead of a nose, they have thermal and bio-electrical sensor strips along the side of their snouts.
Pupils are an ovoid, slanted at a 40° angle.
Eyes protrude forward of the cranial cavity, creating raised ridges on either side of the head.
Ears are twin tipped, with two ear canals for each ear, giving extremely accurate directional hearing.
Tail has a dual pointed tip, whilst being long and thin like that of a cat.
Legs are digitigrade.
Fur is usually a shade of grey, subtle patterning can occur, however it is usually only noticeable on prolonged inspection.
Hands and feet are both clawed, and have only 4 digits each.
