When an elevator breaks down, Wire decides the most important thing to do in the situation is to ensure Raf is well-fed...
Elevator Feeding
By: IndigoRho
Grumbled cursing filled the empty apartment complex lobby as a hefty spotted hyena struggled to squeeze through the front door. Face flushed red, Raf managed to stumbled into the lobby after a few seconds of wiggling, thankful no one had been there to see what had been rapidly becoming a daily occurrence. While he'd always been on the large side his girth had finally started to make getting through doorways a hassle. Unfortunately his attempts to lose weight had been spectacularly unsuccessful, and he'd passed five hundred pounds just a week earlier.
As Raf headed to the elevator he did his best to ignore his weight woes, though his belly jiggling with every step made that impossible. Once in the elevator he jammed the button for his floor and fussed with his tight button-up shirt, ready to reach home and hopefully avoid snacking.
Seconds before the elevator door closed a white paw shot through the gap, forcing it open with considerable effort. The abrupt arrival startled Raf initially—until he realized who it was.
A grinning, cream-colored wolf slid into the elevator, the white fluff around his neck and head getting disheveled in the process. Though Raf wasn't very prone to smiling, he tended to scowl more whenever Wire was around. The wolf had taken a not-so-subtle interest in Raf's weight, always eager to offer the hyena free food and blatantly staring at his gut. Raf was becoming increasingly suspect that Wire was also the reason so many complementary fast food deliveries were made to his apartment. He couldn't blame the obsessive admirer for all his gains, but Raf still considered him a major menace to his waistline.
“Woo, almost missed it. With how old and slow these elevators are who knows how long I'd have been stuck waiting down there!” Wire chuckled as the doors closed behind him, his gaze immediately drifting towards the hyena's middle. “Life been treating you well?”
“Sure,” Raf grumbled, already eager for the ride to be over. He was terrible at pleasantries but even worse at ignoring people.
Before the conversation could continue any further the elevator lurched to a screeching stop, the lights flickering in and out. Raf looked around in disdain, poking any button he could in the hopes the elevator would start back up again swiftly. Wire, meanwhile, didn't seem overly concerned.
“Really?” Raf sighed. “These stupid things are being worked on every other week, I can't believe they haven't been replaced yet!”
“I heard the last time they broke someone was stuck in here for hours,” Wire said.
Just the thought made Raf shudder. “Ugh I hope it's not that long. It's already warm enough in here as it is; dealing with the heat for hours would be a pain.”
“Oh no, it'd be terrible if you overheated! And what if you go hungry, too?” Wire said with exaggerated concern.
“I don't think that'll be—”
Wire interrupted Raf with a snap of his fingers. “Wait, I know the perfect solution! If you eat me then not only will you be full, but you won't have to worry about my excess body heat making things worse!”
Raf raised an eyebrow at Wire, utterly confused. “What the—that'd just make things worse! I'm not going to eat you!”
“Oh don't worry about me I'll be fine. Now just open wide and let me do the rest.”
“I said I'm not gonna eat you, and there's no way you can—ooooooomph!”
Wire's paws were in Raf's mouth and inching down his throat before he even realized what was happening. The hyena stumbled backwards into the elevator wall, eyes bulging as more and more of Wire slipped past his lips. Instinct forced him to start swallowing, which only hastened the wolf's forced descent.
“See, nothing to it!” Wire said cheerfully, already in past his elbows. “And I bet I taste amazing, too.”
Much to Raf's disdain Wire spoke the truth. The wolf tasted faintly of fresh pastries, which actually prompted a growl of approval from his stomach. He tried to grab a hold of his unwanted meal and pull him out but Wire expertly dodged every blind grab as he continued to wiggle into Raf. Soon Raf's jaws were stretching over Wire's head, along with all its white fluff.
As a bulge formed in Raf's throat the top-most button of his shirt was strained well beyond its limits. Fabric tore as it popped off, followed by the next one down. One-by-one Wire's passage burst every button on Raf's shirt, gradually exposing his ballooning belly.
Raf's muffled grumbles filled the elevator as he ate. Wire was too far in to be spat out, and Raf's body demanded he keep swallowing so he keep breathe easily once more. With great reluctance Raf angled Wire up into the air once he'd gulped down half of him, if only to get the obnoxious ordeal over with faster. His bulging gut wobbled as Wire shifted about within, the wolf ensuring his entry into the stomach was a comfortable one—at least for him.
At long last Raf's jaws shut around Wire's footpaws, a frown instantly forming on his face as he groaned in frustration. While Wire had merely been chubby, the wolf still felt heavy in his gut, a far bigger meal than Raf was used to. The thought of how many calories Wire might contain filled him with sudden dread—any hopes of dieting would be ruined if he actually digested the wolf.
Unfortunately for Raf, throwing a whole person up proved to be far more difficult than swallowing them. Attempting to cough or gag just provoked loud belches that rattled the elevator walls. Of course Wire himself was doing nothing to escape. He'd already settled in and relaxed, grinning in the dark.
“No more hunger pains, and I bet things have cooled down out there significantly!” Wire shouted from within, his voice muffled somewhat by layers of fat.
“There weren't any hunger pains to begin with!” Raf growled at his own belly, pressing a paw down on it hard. “Now get out of there right now, I'm fat enough as it is!”
“Well that's not true at all,” Wire said quietly enough to go unheard by Raf. “What, I can't hear you very well in here? I'll just assume everything's going swell!”
Raf gave his gut a punch, fuming.
Suddenly the elevator came back to life, continuing onward to Raf's floor. The stuffed hyena rolled his eyes and sighed, thankful for one annoyance to be dealt with. When the doors opened again he waddled out slowly, belly bouncing left and right from his unplanned meal. A neighbor waiting for the elevator quickly flattened themselves against a wall to let him through, nervously staring at Raf's occupied gut. Raf didn't bother trying to explain the situation, simply ignoring them as he made his way to his apartment, grumbling.
The addition of Wire to his waistline only made squeezing through his front door even more of a hassle, and that of his bedroom as well. Absolutely done with the day, Raf passed out on his creaking bed, meal beginning to churn away.

When Raf woke the following morning he was convinced his force-feeding from the night before had been just another bad dream. The sound of fabric tearing as he shifted in bed quickly brought him back to reality, though.
Raf's eyes shot open, the confused hyena sitting up in bed. Just doing so caused the seams of his shirt sleeves to rip apart, most of the shirt sliding off his body. A cursory glance showed his pants weren't in much better shape, clinging almost painfully tight to his legs, especially around the thighs. His belly had shrunk considerably since going to sleep, yet it was still noticeably larger and doughier. He'd put on weight overnight. A lot of weight.
With a bit of effort Raf slid off the bed and into a standing position, losing the rest of his clothes in the process. He frantically squeezed his arms, his sides, his cheeks—practically everywhere he could. Every bit of him had gotten softer or rounder. It was as if he'd experienced a year's worth of gains in a single night.
Raf had known digesting Wire would make him gain a few pounds, but the actual results seemed impossible, outlandish! He shouldn't have been packed with anywhere near as many calories as he had been.
The aggravated hyena cursed and grumbled himself into a coughing fit. A bulge traveled up his throats and his cheeks puffed out, Raf belching up something that rolled and rattled across his dresser: Wire's skull. He swore the skull was grinning at him, empty sockets angled towards his even larger belly. Raf didn't even want to think about what the wolf would say to him the next time they met.
His day already off to an annoying start, Raf returned to bed, grumpier than usual. Buying brand new clothes was going to be a pain...
