I'm utterly alone in my apartment, have been so for about 10 days now, have another 20 or so to go until my wife - whom I honestly don't find to be compatible or comforting enough for me - gets back from her trip. All my family members are either far away I can't travel to them, or a bore (or dreary) to visit. All my friends, i.e. the people I enjoy talking with, are online-access only, and live too far away for me to visit also.

I say so. But it depends on the crowd, who's in it.
