Yes, we shot them—almost three years of seeing little kids being used as mobile explosives. Their faces will never be forgotten as long as I draw breath. I was a medic in the 551st MP Company, and we ensured that Saddam met his maker alongside the Iraqi High Court. For anyone who doubts the validity of my words, you can look it up for yourselves. I, too, served OIF and OEF, my fellow Combat Veteran. Enough! This is a super wonderful story with a very happy start!!!!!!!!!!!
I still maintain that, for all the fuck-ups that happened in the occupation, getting rid of Saddam and his monstrous sons was absolutely the right thing to do.
They were literally as bad as the worst villains in Game of Thrones and other grimdark series, only they did that shit for real. I know of at least one Navy SEAL who is convinced that the Husseins fed the families of political opponents to their pet lions, after he witnessed the way the lions would go berserk whenever a mother and child walked by their cages. Saddam forced his political rivals to kill each other, or else watch while he had their wives and children raped and tortured. Qusay masterminded the genocide of the Marsh Arabs. Uday, of course, was a violent sexual predator who kidnapped teenage girls, kept them as sex slaves, then murdered them when he got bored.
