Now that things have calmed down I was able to sit down and make myself draw. So I decided to draw a new villain from Artemis's saga- Galena.

Galena is a bat pony who was one of the faceless minions of other villains arrayed against Artemis. In one fateful battle however Galena would lose her legs and eye in an explosion. After that battle and their subsequent defeat, Galena would drift around the wastelands having long since forsaking her defeated comrades. Life is harsh in the wasteland enough- in a wheelchair it was nearly impossible and each day her spite at losing her legs and her past-glory would sour into a all encompassing hatred of the world.

Until one day she was offered the chance of a lifetime. In darkness, secretive malevolent forces conspire to assassinate Artemis and her friends by whatever means necessary. While Galena hid her past well from the common wastrels she could not hide her former affiliations from these malevolent forces. Their spies would seek her out and give her an offer she literally could not refuse.

To walk again, no crutches, canes- real working cyber-legs! Assassinate Artemis and Galena would be free to walk off into her own sunset. That was the deal. Galena took it and the malevolent forces gave her her new pair of legs for the job.

But for all their intel, the shadowy group failed to know how her mental state had deteriorated. Galena would first obtain her own leverage against the Agency- a bioweapon. From the bowels of a long forgotten military installation, Galena's search would bear fruit- a weaponized virus the likes of which could bring the wasteland to it's knees.

Galena wants the world to burn and only Artemis can stop her now.
