Hehe, not exactly that, what i ment is... This is what I'd consider "simple" and "clean". My works are kind of full of crap and filth (which I like) which doesn't coincide with my idea of "clean". "Simple" I associate with simplicity in forms, and clarity in what's protrait, with all unnescessary stuff removed; mine, on the other hand, have all this stuff going on, textures, random brushstrokes, rhyths of random details, over all naturalistic approach - that's not what I understand is "simple".

I consciously move in the opposite direction of "simple" and "clean", that's why i think I've failed. :)

Well~ don't think I will call this crap and filth! 0w0 but they are looking rather elaborated... or elegant in some sense~
So I will say that all the lines and patches come together to compose something that is just... GREAT!!!

You're definitely getting the clarity and what you want to present here thoroughly!

I really like this one. The background is kind of like a Rorschach test. It could be stylized light through foliage, or a dramatic background of a splatter, because that black spot on his chest looks like it could be either shadows from said foliage or perhaps blood.
And look at his fucking face.
It's just plain awesome.
