As noted in a previous pic, Kinchaku has a state he can enter should he reach a certain level of hunger. Once he does, he looks for something to fill his belly, usually in the form of another Tree Spirit, for a random period of time, upon which they are usually released. Though, he usually tends to hunt them down, or othersuch tactics. And, it seems Totoro didn't pay much attention, as he is finding himself being gulped down~
Of course, despite the fact he is in no way facing harm, he is still going through the usual 'please don't eat me' phases and trying to talk his way out of spending some time in the gut~
i mean come on you're already 90% swallowed there's nothing else you can do really
