Ok so this dude, his name is Malikai. He is a sub god, like a god below the gods. He was the the king of Naerba's adviser, but the king was told a rumor that Malikai was going to betray him. So, the king decided to kill him by leaving him out in the desert for the buzzards. (dont worry he lives =D lol)(i love cliche fantasy ML (man love) stories)
