As most of you know, I love fantasy! From locations, powers, creatures, and so on I love to read and explore various things that are related to mystical adventure and magical realms. So it should come as no surprise that when JinandTonic (Eyebrow ride on his Tumblr) decided to open up what he called “Fantasy Bullshit” commissions I literally threw myself at the chance to get one…and promptly had to buy a new screen as a result XD. Now at out of most of my characters I would say that our little ocean demon Levyne is the most suitable for a fantasy-based commission given her aquatic, almost mermaid esque appearance. But what if she were a fighter? To be completely honest, I could definitely see Levyne being a combative enemy/obstacle on someone’s magical journey…unless you wish to romance her and get her on your party, which won’t be too daunting of a task. You know, when I think of video games and such, there is no shortage of fish based enemies, such as: the Murlocs from world of Warcraft, the Hamlet fishermen and shark-giants from Bloodborne, Ice Snarks from Alice madness returns, Neptune in Resident Evil, and Splash woman from Megaman 9 just to name a few. But, come now, meek little Levyne? She may be a demon but she’s not dangerous…unless you’re a fish, so she might take more of a support role, hence her punny title. I hope you all enjoy and remember a quick little dip in the ocean might make you a new companion, you never know!
As its shark week, I thought it would be nice to have some more Levyne
*TRIVIA: Levyne very rarely smiles while showing her teeth due to them having a sharp razor, shark like quality to them. The reason for this is due to her thinking that people would really believe she is a monster if she were to do so, yet Orion doesn’t have an issue with it whatsoever

That is a super great character. There are a lot of fishfolk enemies in games, and there need to be more allies too. The only ones that come to mind are Yae from the Goemon games (She becomes a mermaid), Driblees from Kirby Star Allies, and Kine. There's the Milotic from pokemon as well as Dragalge, but I don't think those count as much. Still very cute!
Oh, now this is something I love to do myself as well. Taking whatever characters and imagine them in a video game setting!
Everything from what type of games they'd be in and what roles they would have in said game franchise to what kind of story line they would be in and what sort of abilities that they would have.
So if I'm understanding this right then Levyne would be one of the game's optional characters?
One that you don't necessarily need to finish the game, but that if you were to figure out how to get her into your party then you'd open up new story-line paths and options.
Like maybe normally you just meet her randomly once and nothing else happens or that you just end up fighting her without much option for dialogue and then continue on without a second thought.
Or worse, in an optional story line where you do not get her to join your party perhaps you will need to fight her in her demon form because something terrible happened to hear because she had not joined up with your party :c
Then to get her to join you need to do optional side quests to either find some sort of item that catches her interest to talk to you.
Or to find out stuff in the world where you get to hear about her tragic backstory as a demon and how she got separated from her father and their crew.
I dunno, just some thoughts that popped up in my head after reading the description and seeing the image.
Speaking of the image, JinAndTonic did a great job on this, as usual :D
I love the new battle gear she's got! Also the aquamancy shark is a nice touch~
Always lovely to see more of Levyne~

Well it would be sorta like this: Levyne would be a secret NPC that you would only be able to access on rare occasion/ times (mostly at night or during rainy weather),. She wouldn’t show herself until after multiple visits and clearing the area of demons. The benefits for unlocking her range from underwater benefits like breathing or searching for treasures/items in various bodies of water.
Oho, and would this be something the player has to just know or would there be a way for the player to figure this out?
Like through rumors from people in town or simply that the area with demon would be a good grinding spot which would make the player want to return on their own volotion.
Hehe, I'm sure we both know that the true benefit of unlocking her as a character would be that we would get the game's most lovely character to join the party ;)
Being able to romance her is also a bonus~
