Now with ladyanubis-things, for what that's worth. Not really a huge amount of sexual dimorphism between them. I guess I could always play with that, be it anatomy or colorways. Not really a + or a -, but something to think about if it bugs me.
I was going to include the female variants of those meylan subspecies, but the only images I had were of characters who weren't really suited for this kind of line-up. One was an abnormally fit and tall soldier, the other was a rather voluptuous two-faced swindler. So, two extremes.
Not pictured: anubis-things are super into face / body paint and ornaments woven into their hair / clipped to their ears.
Also aside from a higher caloric intake on the daily, anubis-things are generally superior to a meylan in every regard. Faster, smarter, stronger, and a home-field advantage.

Hmm! LadyAnubis-things! Even though we've already seen one or two of them before, it's cool to see them in a lineup alongside the males! The details you gave, about them being into the face paints and body paints, and ornaments and things in their hair and ears is pretty cool! I'm sure there'll be a lot of fun stuff to add to make characters out of them cool and distinct!
And they are superior to a meylan in almost every regard? I had a feeling the Corulus on the bottom right was looking down on that Meylan in more ways than one, haha! But seriously, I wonder how that'd affect how those two species get along... if they even do.
Pretty interesting to hear about your reasoning for not including the female versions of those li'l meylans too. To know you've already got some defined characters made out of these species! That's pretty interesting and exciting!
