Kaiden the Rock Mage, Armoured!
My redesign for my sona: Kaiden :D
He is a rock mage who uses the runes on his body to control the earth around him.
He wasn't born with these powers however, he was picked up from his African village as an apprentice by a travelling wizard. While in the wizard's company Kaiden fused with rune stones in possession of his employer granting him control over the earth itself however this power isn't infinite and still needs fine-tuning.
He is able to shape the earth to give himself armour to varying degrees. Usually he would have small rocks gathered around his runes not by choice but because his runes radiate energy even while not in use, making rocks naturally attract to him. Kaiden has two major 'stances' when it comes to his rock armour: casual, for everyday living, and lockdown, for battle. Boasting thick stone plating and amplified control over the elements lockdown stance is a formidable sight for opponents.
