Usually worlds like these, with the markings of town and cities, and having the geographical zones that are quite different close to each other seems more like an RPG. Like if you go to another set of Islands or Continent will have its own frosty place, desert and jungle. Going for real life, the scattered Islands of the Caribbean would be a chain where much is the same but yet being different nations.
