Yes, yes! I am currently finishing working on a 6 page promo of it that I will try to promote at Eurofurence :D And right afer EF I will post it here on FA too n___n The plan is as usual to just give an earlier access on Patreon and then post it publically for everyone. :D Worked my ass off for a year on it already so i think it's about time to launch it \o/

Checking those cool pics and the ones from your gallery, his look has definitely evolved while also still staying true to how you first started drawing him. He's really quite unique looking, which is certainly cool. I'm all about mature guys, and lions are my favorite animal besides dogs, even got a pair of mature lion guys myself in my repertoire. Combine that with how I agree with you that older men in suits is a great look (and the cigars do add to that cool manliness) and I am very curious indeed on what you have planned for Nero here, definitely looking forward to it.

He was always supposed to be what he is now more or less, but I lacked the skill to draw muscular dudes hehe ^^" So he was sort of too skinny before :D Not to mention the first design was pretty much supposed to be a lion version of Wolverine XD But he has come a looooong way since that time :D I'm really happy where he is now.
And yes, lions are absolutely great! They have many characteristic features that can be shown wonderfully on art.
Old men + suits is love! I actually wish there were more people who liked this 'fetish' around here. I mostly see young muscular dudes, not so many people go into the mid-age teritory... :C

Well, you certainly have the skill for muscles now. I like that he looks athletic without looking enormous. His look really evolved overtime and he looks great and just really unique.

Totally agreed on lions, they can have such wide variety and their manes certainly help on that. Nero there is certainly unlike most lions I see, and that's good thing, in my opinion. And actually, I think a lot of people have gotten into the older men "fetish" lately, I see a lot of "Dad" characters out there, "DILFs", even if most of them are older and not actual dads, I'm kinda finnicky over the use of the word to describe older guys. Anyway, I see a ton of them nowadays, which makes me chuckle and wonder what took people so long to get into them, as I have been into them for like almost 20 years now. Older men have great allure and many species can look great with that look, plus it can vary a lot in body types and the like. And as you and I and others show, lions can pull it off superbly.

Really look forward to more, especially now that you're doing and getting more pics of him. Nero has a cute daughter too, and they seem to have such a nice relationship too. Only enhances the anticipation.

I indeed see a lot of daddy stuff around, but rarely the guys are actual dads or even are more thna 40 yo. I am really happy to see this fetish take wing though xD It's tasteful! And well, I for one had it for the past... ever since it turned 14-15 I believe? But I wasn't a furry back then so I can only put it into practice for the past 3 years here, when I joined the fandom 8D You can be sure to see a ton of this from me, casue I draw it every chance I get haha.

I'm really glad You find him unique!! I was sort of scared, that becasue his fur colors are rather natural he won't be too characteristic, but I suppose the balding and receiding hairline makes him stand out from the overly maney lion dads on this site :D I'm very happy about it ^^

And yes, age is always a great factor to underline in characters in my opinion. It makes the faces more expressive, the personality way deeper and the body types have such a wide range~

Agreed, so many "dad" characters who look like they're not a day over 35 and don't have actual kids. You see that a lot even in real life porn, they toot over the whole "older man" thing and then said guy looks maybe five years older than the other person at most. So you bet I enjoy it when the term is used right and also when people do nice and proper mature characters and how their maturity in age can add to their allure, not just physically. And they can be attractive in so many ways, from athletic to chubby, from handsome to cute to grizzled and rugged, from tall to short, from flirty and charming or shy and gentlemanly to grumpy and reserved, just so many ways they can appeal.

And totally agreed, the mane as well as facial features truly make Nero stand out from the crowd. Most lions are quite maney, yes (one of my best friends has his own mature lion who's unique, as in so maney that he ties it on a braid in front of him), so doing different things with the mane can make them stand out, like cutting it short, giving it different colors and styles, treating it like regular hair rather than a lush, thick mane, and as you have done, go the "balding" route. Add to that the bits and pieces you've gotten to show of him (liking exercise, liquor, cigars, fine suits, having a doting daughter) and he's really a stand-out.

And it's great that comments like these make you happy. You've clearly put a lot of thought and effort into this cool character and I feel it's definitely deserving of praise and kind words.

Thanks! I like to differentiate mane on palms much like with humans where You always remain with a lighter skin tone on the inside of Your hands, no matter how tan You get :D
He doesn't have an actual mane, or rather, he used to have a bigger mane, but he is 50 now and loosing hair xD Also has a receiding hairline, so that's just the character's specific feature :) No he is just left with a mane on the chest and neck areas, as many men his age :D

I mean, I'm glad Nero can't read this, or he would go cry in the bathroom! and buy even more cosmetics for hair growth XD
