Haha I hear you! Pike, walleye and bass are my top favorite to catch. My... least favorite would have to be lake whitefish... it's like reeling in a log. o_o

Smallmouth's really common where I go fishing, so caught it quite often. Even the small ones fight a heck of a lot! :) You won't regret it.

Today I caught some goldfish.

XD ^_^ I used to have more but they slowly died off and I'm considering breeding fish now, so I'm trying to learn more about it then decide which fish I'd want to breed XD

Livebearers such as guppies, mollies and platies are the easiest to breed, you just gotta watch them to make sure they don't eat all their babies. If you ever have any fish/aquarium questions feel free to ask, I work at Petsmart and I'm pretty knowledgable on that stuff. ;)

yeah, my best friend works at a pet store here and has dealt with breeding fish for years Xd I just like knowing everything possible before i get myself into something that involves living beings XD

I wish more people had that mentality - I see SO many people walk into our store and decide they want this or that animal, and then when you start explaining to them all the stuff they need to buy to take care of/feed/house that animal, they act like its a huge shock. A pet is like a child, if you think about it - not something to enter into lightly, and research is never EVER a bad thing! lol

I know, I used to get angry with my roommate cause she'd see me with my fish and go out and buy some random animal even after I explain what it takes and how much research i did before deciding what fish I wanted. and she comes home with the pet but nothing for it with an expression of "what? I had to get food for it too?" It angered me -.-'

It's sad to me to think of how many animals go to homes with people who know nothing cause a lot of them just die when really they could be alive and well today... ARGGG! -rages godzilla style over lego blocks- ^_^

I agree. Its hard to get the general population to listen and even those that do will usually just shrug it off and go on with their lives. I guess all you can really do is try to reach the ones right in front of you and hope they pass at least some of it along.
