I was impatient, scared, anxious, even slightly angry.
All these thoughts blurred my vision in the moment.
It blinded me from the beauty that was right behind me...
...and right next to me as well.
It took a few months, but I finally pushed out all those negative feelings...
...and decided to take in the view for once.
Just like you told me to.
That was just over a year ago.
To this day I will never forget turning around and seeing the city from atop that hill...
...all the while enjoying the gorgeous view with you, Nathan.
Up on City View hill...
...I met the love of my life.
