Backing track by The Karaoke Channel and purchased on iTunes. Original song from the musical, South Pacific.
Aurora helps Sara prepare for the wedding.
I had wanted to include this chapter in the original posting of the story, but the original voice of Sara was very reluctant to sing, so, I dropped the chapter. I am very glad that the new voice, who was added due to the unavailability of the original voice, could sing quite well, so I put the chapter back in.
This chapter also illustrates some of the challenges of doing an audio story where the voices are all over the place, and you have little if any control over the recording process. Aurora's mic had a warmup for every line. I had to compress like mad and do a lot of noise removal just to get it to this quality. The alternative was to replace her voice which I was very reluctant to do.
Also, this is only the second chapter to have none of The Beach Bears in it, and the very first one to have no male characters.

Very nice. Very nice indeed. Of course, using a different singing voice for an actor is pretty common. The best example was Singing in the Rain where Kathy Selden (Debbie Reynolds) replaced the voice of "movie sensation" Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen.) More contemporary, while Tara Strong is the voice of Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony, her singing voice is Rebecca Shoichet who also voices (and sings) Sunset Shimmer. There's a changed scene in Equestria Girls: The Friendship Games where Rebecca is singing as both Sunset and Twilight in an alternating duet that's quite impressive. Unfortunately, due to changes in the story line, the actual song ended up being Twilight only.
The classic one, is when Marni Nixon sang for Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady, after they passed up Julie Andrews to play the part of Eliza Doolittle, because Julie Andrews had no experience in films.
Julie Andrews had the last laugh by making her film debut in Mary Poppins and won an oscar for her role.
