I wanted to draw something with pretty colours, and that came out. As with the previous submission, I wanted to get a good composition going too, and I thiiink I pulled it off alright. Not perfect but at least kind of interesting.
There's no real logic to it, it's a room where the furniture is all techy computery stuff. I feel like I could have added more things, but it was getting complex enough for now and I didn't want to get lost in details.
I'm open to hearing both what you like about this illustration, as well as what I could improve for next time.

damn this is cool! I do like how you framed the main character in the window and made his edges and lines sharper so he he's more prominent. I love the cityscape in the back with the warm colors contrasting the cooler interior. My only suggestion would be to shade/highlight the tail because it still feels rather flat compared to the rest of the figure. Perhaps use a light green lighting on the character's left side, especially the leg, as it's emitted by the box. Overall this is a great piece and I can feel and imagine the world that this takes place in which is a fantastic accomplishment.
Oh dang, thanks! This is surprisingly more in-depth than anything I expected.
I did try and add a bit of a green tint on the character's left, but it might have been more subdued than it should have been; I assumed that the light source was weak and far away enough to not make too much of a difference. It shows less than I had first thought. The tail I'll agree with entirely; depth and the third dimension are still a bit of a weakness of mine. I'll be sure to try some things for next time and see what I can do to fix it.
