This was taken almost 3 weeks ago now at Burning Man. That's an art car somebody made and drove around a lot. The arms are cool, and my b/f and I took a pic as if we were getting caught by the cat. Lots of fun.
The costume is actually one I put together for another event entirely. My b/f's birthday party in Oct. is Alice in Wonderland themed. So my costume is the Cheshire Cat (as I am a Cheshire...and a 'cat') Found the pieces at Evangeline's and Prevue's both here in Sacramento. It's actually just a preview of the full costume. The actual CAT pieces will be added later. When that happens there will be an official costume pic of it. I CAN'T WAIT!
Oh, I also dyed my hair black, and bleached out 3 stripes and dyed them blue. In this pic those blue stripes have been sprayed pink. Then Fauxhawked. I like the look. But I like the blue better. The blue's all gone now...sad.

In 09 I camped with 6 furs and we ran into or found 9 or 10 other furs in total, but there was no camp.
This year, NeonBunny registered Camp FUR and I think around 15 of us were at camp, and a couple more furs were elsewhere in BRC. Not sure if the theme camp is coming back in the same form next year or not, though!
