Second piece of an art project done by going along with a story I've made of a alternate universe/timeline of the Spyro series, in which all of the dragons are anthropomorphic. The major difference between the canon timeline and this timeline, besides the aforementioned one, is that Malefor never became evil in this timeline, instead was named Vortex, and became a ally to the Guardians instead of becoming their enemy.

This time it's of the leader of the Guardians and all-around father figure, Ignitus! His helmet, lance, and shield, the latter two being on his back, are derived from designs that were going to be featured the Legend of Spyro game series for a particular mission, but that idea got scrapped and found it's way to be used in this design!

He uses a mixed combat style, melding his mastery of fire along with his sword, shield, and spear. He usually dual wields any combination of those three tools and his power of fire.
