Woo, two chapters in one sitting!
Granted, they're getting smaller, averaging around 3k words a pop, but the timing and flow feels right to me. In this chapter, a few surprising answers lead to a dangerous situation and a few unexpected kindnesses.
After this entry I'll probably take a week-long break or so from this project for about a week to let some ideas percolate. Comments and critiques welcome and appreciated!
