I'd say you were doing between 120-140 down the straightaways? That's thirteen miles of track there. To do it in ten minutes is very good. :)

I would love to drive the loop... Just once... But I'm not sure I will be able to overcome my fear of flying enough to do it. :P

Well, BTG is just about 12,43 miles or even a little less :3
As you can't do a whole lap at the Touristenfahrten you just count the time from the bridge after the entrance to the advertisement bridge short after the "Döttinger Höhe".
But yeah, at maximum I do around 120mph from after "Flugplatz" to "Aremberg"...

Another fast part would be from "Bergwerk" up to Klostertal... but it's so steep that the small 2.0 8V has to fight hard and just does 93mph at maximum xD
But after that there are just easy hills where you can go up with enough speed and some corners you can drive straight thru...

When I did that nice lap I was going 73mph averagely :3

I love technical tracks and roads... Especially ones with lots of corners and such. I know what you mean about the issue going steeper inclines with four cyliners, though yours motor is .5L larger than my Civic Sedan's was... Mine would fight unless I downshifted to whatever gear was revving high enough to keep the torque.

Nope, they are pretty hard xD
As you can see the front isn't much lower in that corner as on other pics of my car... maybe a Centimeter or so x3
But at the back there's sure lots of pitch of spring left... and as the corner is a pretty fast one and my friend there in the passenger seat isn't very lightweit either the car went quite down a bit at the back, though the struts are pretty hard there too xD

ahhh der ist auch cool. Ich find es schön das man bei deinem nicht auf den ersten Blick erkennt das es ein gti is. Nur kenner wissen was hinter steckt. ^^
Ich würde gerne den abf (2L 16v 150Ps) in meinem Golf 2 haben der geht auch gut nach vorne

Ich spiel auch mit de Gedanken da nen ABF rein zu setzen, bzw da die Karosse jetzt durch zwei Unfälle bischen was kaputt ist und vorher sowieso schon gut Rost (hatte) will ich mir irgendwann ne neue Karosse aufbauen und da direkt nen ABF reinsetzen... aber das wird noch was dauern.

Schade mit den Unfällen. Ich hoffe und bete das es mit meinem nicht passiert wir haben ihn jetzt schon 18 Jahre, ich bin mit ihm aufgewachsen und er gehört mittlerweile zur Familie :D
