Xander's grandfather and the one who prepared him and Zeke for the PCA, Alexander Thompson

One of the finest warriors from his generation, Alexander has embarked on a journey around the world soon after the rite of passage that was a tradition in his family, trying to learn more about the world around him. Gathering all the knowledge and skills he could, after 15 years of traveling he returned back to Sinnoh, where he founded a family with his love, Miriam Brandon, and soon they got their first and only child, a son named Maxwell. Couple of years later, Miriam fell ill and died, leaving her devastated husband and their only child behind. Alexander vowed he will make sure their child grows up into an upstanding mon, and as years have passed, Maxwell signed in the prestige Combat Academy in Kanto region, and left it as one of the best graduates four years later, much to his father's pride. He soon also took the rite of passage and after passing it, he settled down in a small town in Hoenn region, Lavaridge Town. He started acting in one of the most popular action movie series "Infernal Warriors", and despite his fame and popularity, soon retired from it, desiring a more peaceful life and soon opened a restaurant with his wife and love from the academy, Roxanne. Three years later, their son Xander was born, and as he grew older it was clearly visible he took the path of his father and grandfather. Old Alexander decided to move to Hoenn as well, in order to help his grandson in his training. After Zeke's mother came to her old friends seeking for refuge, her son also decided to train in order to prepare for facing his father one day. After both Zeke and Xander signed in at the PCA, Alexander realized that, despite the fact his job was done, they might still need help, so he moved to Kanto region, and opened a small flower shop in Pewter City, something his deceased wife was hoping to do one day. On some weekends, Zeke and Xander visit him so they can carry on with their training with him. Despite his age, Alexander is still very agile and a dangerous opponent if provoked. Still, he is a very good and kind person towards everyone and will first try to resolve things peacefully. During the training, he is very firm and strict, yet he's not afraid to show he's proud of his students.
He still occasionally visits his wife's tomb in Sinnoh, remembering of the years that have passed and waiting for the moment when he'll join his love.
