The story goes that Akane decided to travel to China by herself to get some spring of drowned man for Ran-chan. She figured "things only go wrong when Ranma or those other nuts show up!" so if only she went everything would be fine.
Yeah right.
She gets dunked in the water and when she comes too after beening knocked out she's already on the boat home and doesn't know how she got there!!!
The end result is she turns into a tall, handsome, sexy guy when splashed with cold water...she even gets stronger kinda like Ryouga. Anyway, the same way that Akane is jealous of Ranma's female half is how Ranma is jealous of Akane's male half. Especail when alot of his admirers want an up grade ^_^
The best part is that Ranma's feelings for Akane are right on the surface and just like Akane loves both Ranma's male/female halfs Ranma is unnerved that he has feelings for Akane's male half.
