Blue Macaw's Logo Bunch #148 - TV Channels #63
*This episode of Logo Bunch is brought to you by an old favorite, Chaos, the Mad Scientist Alligator.
Welcome back to another episode of Logo Bunch, Nickelodeon Edition! Today, we got another batch of Nickelodeon logos for you to see, and the best part, they both come from my favorite rebrand era, the Abstract era from 2000 to 2002. The last time I did an Abstract Nickelodeon logo was in Episode 114 with Kaleidoscopial where I discussed about the Abstract Cloud logo. That's the first Abstract Nick logo I did on the edition. But today, thanks to jnohai on DA, he requested me 2 more Abstract logos for me to talk about and it stars an old OC of mine, Chaos, seeming that these logos have something to do with science. Let's kick things off with the first logo with atoms that many people call it, the Nick Electron logo. This logo is very special. Talking about its shape, you can definitely tell that it has that scientific feel to it. I mean you got these wobbly shapes next to the bouning balls that look like atoms. Now that is very scientific and creative. This logo appeared in the Abstract era both in the bumpers and the split screen credits. The bumpers it had appeared in are shows like CatDog, Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, SpongeBob, and Oh Yeah! Cartoons, and the ending bumper was only used at the end of Pelswick. I didn't mention this in the Abstract cloud episode, but this and the cloud logo had its own spot in the split screen credits where the advertisement is played on the top-right and the logo (along with its Nick.com counterpart) is seen on the bottom-right, zooming in from time to time. But the reason why I said this logo is special is because it waa also shown outside of the Abstract era in 2002 through 2006, showing in promos for a block called SLAM! (short for Super Large Action Madness) where it shows programs like Speed Racer X, some forgotten show called Butt-Ugly Martians, and everybody's favorite show, Invader Zim. Anyways, it was also shown in promos for The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius for New Episodes and Home Video releases, and it was shown in some merchandise as well. In fact, I considered this to be the most popular Nickelodeon Abstract logo in its existance! But, moving on to the next logo. Some people have trouble describing on what logo it's going to be, maybe something that belongs in Rocko's Modern Life or CatDog. Other people think that it's shaped like an amoeba. That's because this Abstract logo is called the Nick Amoeba logo. The shape of it is so round that, yeah, it makes me think that it does belong in Rocko's Modern Life or CatDog. The bumpers it was presented were shown for shows like Hey Arnold! and Doug, and the ending bumper was used for The Wild Thornberrys and was also used for Doug. It was also shown for the Home Video promo for Rugrats: Decade in Diapers VHSs, where it presented the Top 10 Best Rugrats episodes (5 in both VHSs) on behalf of their 10th anniversary. It's a weird logo, but still looks presentable. And there you have it! That concludes this episode! Stay tuned for more logos coming soon! If you love this episode and Logo Bunch in general, make sure you give it a thumbs up, leave a comment in the comments section down below, and follow my adventures in Deviantart and FurAffinity.
