Wanted to do a Summer pic when the season first started, but this is still a great time for one ^^

Introducing two new OCs: Jolts the dedenne and Ember the fennekin. They may make appearances from time to time with Sparks or on their own.

Jolts is the book smart type and Sparks' main man when it comes to inventions and devising clever ways for Sparks to get the sweets he craves or getting him out of a pickle. Jolt's plight is similar to Maxwell of Hamtaro in that Sparks tends to bug him for information a little too often, and sometimes forgets what he learned from Jolts after a short time. The missing chunk on his tail was the result of a failed science experiment.

Ember, on the other hand is a practical, down to Earth fennekin who watches over Sparks, and tries to prevent him from getting into problems in the first place. Even though she is unevolved (by choice), her fire attacks stun several larger pokemon. She is also a cook, but will only prepare healthy food for Sparks, much to his disappointment. Even though she's at the beach here, she will avoid the water as much as possible.

Sparks, is still cool and cute at the same time and tries to act tough but falls prey to sweets and goes after them at all costs, which prompt Jolts and Ember to take action as soon as he makes the wrong move. His naivete and excess curiosity is what gets him into trouble the most, which makes it necessary for his friends to help him. One of his dreams is to place first at the Super Smash Bros. Tournament - a goal he falls short no thanks to his addiction to sweets. Although he likes to cause mischief, he doesn't cause or like seeing physical harm done to anyone, and will stand up to the situation.

Ember and Jolts: Don't hog the ball Sparks!!
