Btw, if anyone updated the Lizards and you load up your projects with the old ones, they'll look warped like some sort of Eldritch Horror. With almost all models in SFM that you update mid-use, just right-click the model name in your hierarchy (the left list) in the Animation Set Editor and go....

"True"...you can import PNG, but Targa is most common because it has non-transparency alpha channels. Which Source uses for technical reasons. Imported PNGs do transparency, which is always converted to an alpha channel by VTFEdit. Which isn't wanted most of the time with textures.

Did you link the two together, then use the "Zero" Slider to attach them?
If so then you have to open the "Unknown" section on the hood itself, select all the unchecked boxes at once and then while they're still highlighted drag the "Default" slider to the right, like you did for the "Zero" slider. That'll make it look exactly like it is in the screenshots.
If it doesn't work, then respawn a new hood. Because you have to do it 100% correctly, on your 1st attempt. If you use any other slider before Default, on the unchecked boxes then it'll mess things up.

Speaking of attaching objects, how does one attach the gloves/arm clothing to the models? Does it need to be done after you put on the rig or before? I tried to put it on their arms and rig it to the root, but no avail. Perhaps I should make a video showing what I'm doing wrong.
Pretty much with all clothes/props for SFM in general, you drag the entire main body to the clothes/prop itself. No root, no limbs. Just the entire thing. Then "Zero" them out with the procedural slider.

Wow, sweet models with high quality and variation. I was having some trouble getting this pack to work. Unpacking the files requires 7zip if anyone is running into trouble with trying to unpack the files with WinRar. Apparently, I lack the patience to try to learn Source, it runs a tad slow on my laptop at times. I'mm curious if there happens to be a .blend file lying around? If not, I can manage porting over to a Blend file myself. Thought it may take a while. Hehe, thanks for sharing this with everyone!

The texture work is pretty big. Porting the models is straightforward, but putting the materials together is gonna take some time. As for the rigs, they're intact across the port. I'd just like to tweak them to fit Blender somewhat. Not sure how the IK goes though. Thanks again for sharing.

While in all honesty I'd like to see something new, Snakes, Cats, Bats, and Dragons Should be updated. The clothes of the new models are incompatible with the old ones, and it is a frustrating prospect, especially since dragons were paid from the start. Love your work by the way, the models are beautiful. I should be able to start posting my work with them soon.

Am I looking in the wrong spot or just not hard enough?
Because I'm thinking of buying some of these characters to pose in some of my SFM projects but I'd like to find a decent bio on some of them, so I have more confidence when posing them or deciding what to put them in.
