Clothing reference sheet for Amelie, the incorrigible British springer spaniel. :) Originally, her dress was red/green/black, but she looked like Mrs. Claus, so I changed it to blue and black!
I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT SHE WEARS BLACK STOCKINGS!!!! They are like pantyhose, just a bit thicker. Poor thing, look at all of the layers she has to wear! I also didn't draw in the hat since the hats are creative liberty. :)
I ALSO FORGOT TO PUT IN THAT SHE CAN OFTEN BE SEEN WEARING A "VOTES FOR WOMEN" SASH. I was running out of room anyhow! :)

Exactly, they were still hotter than hell. Let's just be glad that London isn't nearly as hot as the American south. XD Still, England has it's hot days.
I originally was going to make her petticoat out of silk and lace, but I decided to use cotton and lace so you can hear the "bustling" sound when I walk by, which was a sexual fetish of the Victorian and Edwardian men. :) They loved that bustling noise.

Awww, I would love that so much. :3 That's so sweet, so go ahead and draw her if you want! :D She loves to drink coffee while people watching in Hyde Park or watch the ships coming in on the Thames. She also does fight for women's rights (doesn't do the whole vandalism bit though) and she is often seen painting or writing while in the park. :D
That or she's at home with her cat and fish. XD

lol No you're not XD The original nude reference of her mentions the time period. Plus, I have "Victorian" written all over that reference sheet and she *looks* Victorian instead of Edwardian. :)
Amelie's dress was actually a Victorian costume she made... but she just decided to adopt it into her everyday wardrobe. XD She's a nut.

Both making it and wearing it. Her dress has so many layers... nevermind the ACTUAL layers underneath.
Wearing it will be a pain in the ass, too. First, I have to put on the stockings and corset. Then, I have to put on the bloomers. Then, I have to put on the petticoat (tops and bottoms) and THEN the dress. Then, I have to put on that black-wrap overcoat thing she has and THEN the ribbon. Nevermind the gloves and hat and booats. THEN the fursuit head. XD If it's cold weather, I'll have a shawl, too.
Buh.
