Nightshade's wearing a punk-styled (or rather, gothic or post-punk) jacket, and little else ;P
I was asked to submit something to RBW's charity art show, so I did this. RBW is a fur con, the largest one in the UK: http://www.rbw.org.uk/
If you attend that convention, you will be able to purchase a high quality signed & framed print of this picture at the art show. The proceeds will go to charity, so you can own a picture of Nightshade being sassy AND help out those in need!
Again, the con is: http://www.rbw.org.uk/

Your jacket inspired this, but Nightshade's not a punk, she's more of a post-punk, gothic type. :P
Suicide is an early punk/synth pop band. They're relatively unknown and avant-garde, but hugely influential: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_(band)

from my vast yet limited memory, they are the punks of the "post-punk" era. they were punks, just the remains after the scene first went down on itself, so all the post-punks were bitter and angery. while the prior scene was more counter culture, the post punks were anti-culture. goth did develop much in that time. for the 80s were a dark time and it is reflected in the movies, games and other entertainment of the time.
man, the 80's were so fucking dark, no one wants to admit it. all people see is like you said. the plastic rainbow cover over a landmine. there was so much angery in that decade that no mainstream would touch if it could, but it still happened. all the best horror movies come from the 80's, comics and other things dark and evil. all built up in the post thatcher era. there was so much that was created out of rage and grim future.
I miss that feeling and I never even was conscious of it at the time!

God damn, that's nice! It's almost as if she's beckoning me to come take a closer look, which I would do if I weren't such a gentleman.
Jimmy: I would!
Alex: I second that motion, James!
...
Sorry, the guys at Studio 23 all get hot upon the sight of anything young, goth and/or sexy.

I like the Eye of Ra pin on her right shoulder, it really Set's off her Ankh necklace. And yes, the pun was very much intended. x3
Ahh, so you're the one who got it! Congratulations! I'm very flattered and pleased that there was competition for my little piece. I expected it to maybe sell for the starting price, but nothing more. Let's just say I was astounded when I saw what it went for. I hope you will enjoy the wall space it'll take up. Note me sometime with your address and I'll mail you a personal sketch as a show of appreciation :3
