Zir Hovex - Fierce Beast
Height: 115-180 cm Weight: 170-300 kg Fur: shades of brown. Eyes: shades of orange and yellow.
Carnivorous. Life length: 40-50 years. Maturity comes from 10 years. There can be 1-3 cubs in one brood.
They prefer to hunt alone from ambush in the forest or high bush. They usually choose huge hoofed animals or other carnvorous animals sized like Zir Hovex themselves or smaller as a prey.
They can produce such sounds as roar, hiss and low, loud "maow". The last sound is used to tell everyone about the animal's location and, consequently, territory marking.
They often take risks, judicious. They are famous for their honor and loyalty in the battle.
Hovex are very hardy, they have developed muscles, and the jaws can easily break the neck vertebrae.
Text for the paw: A mighty strike can knock the prey down and stun it. The sharp claws are adapted to catch the prey.
